Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven sales professional to join our team. As a key member of our sales force, you will be responsible for engaging new clients and generating new sales opportunities with companies in the automotive and OEM (original equipment manufacturer) markets. The ideal Sales Representative will have experience selling fasteners and/or c-class components with a history of acquiring new business.
Skills:
• New Business Development: Effectively identify, engage, and sell to prospects to convert new business opportunities and customers.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients. Align to the customer’s needs and goals to build trust and form strong relationships.
• Quoting and Negotiation: Prepare and present quotations to clients and work towards mutually beneficial agreements for new programs, supply agreements, and long-term services.
• B2B Selling: The candidate should have experience selling directly to businesses with foundational knowledge of fasteners and selling to automotive customers.
• Achieve Sales Targets: Meet and exceed sales targets and quotas on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales growth opportunities and maximize touchpoints with new targets.
• Product Knowledge: Stay updated on market, industry, and product trends. Provide technical support for clients to ensure they are making informed purchasing decisions.
• Collaboration: Effectively communicate and work with internal teams to derive the best outcomes for the company and customer.
• Reporting: Provide updates/reports on sales activities, market trends, and client feedback. Utilize CRM and quoting tools to manage and document sales activities and opportunities.
Qualifications:
- B2B sales experience, preferably into Automotive and OEM markets.
- Strong understanding of selling fasteners and/or c-class components.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, or equal industry experience.
- 3+ years of experience in direct sales, preferably in a relevant industry.
- Applicants must be able to travel up to 30% of the time, including some overnights.
- Applicants may be required to lift up to 45lbs occasionally.
