Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Outside Sales Representative - Surveillance & IDS at Kontek Industries in Kannapolis, NC. The role involves sales presentations, relationship building, customer service, communication, and new business development tasks on a daily basis.


Qualifications

  • Sales Presentations and Relationship Building skills
  • Customer Service and Communication skills
  • New Business Development skills
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in security or related industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field

The ideal candidate will prospect and generate new commercial business as well as perform cold-calls in the field to generate new permanent sales. This candidate should be able to support existing clients and have an ability to conduct product demonstrations. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business
  • Service existing clients
  • Effectively demonstrate product line
  • Meet established goals for territory development and sales quotas


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field
  • 2+ years' experience in cold calling sales with strong track record of success
  • Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals


  • Base salary: Starting at $45,000.00
  • Commission: 5%
  • OTE: $115,000+
