We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in finance, accounting, and collections, with a proven track record of successfully assisting with financial operations, improving collections processes, and managing projects of varying size and complexity from beginning to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Support all aspects of the company's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Review and analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings or revenue growth.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
- Aid in the collections process, including contacting clients with outstanding balances, resolving payment discrepancies, and negotiating payment plans.
- Collaborate with individual team members to address customer inquiries and resolve billing disputes in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain positive and productive relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Assist in managing firm projects including working with management to effectively budget and track costs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in accounting and financial operations.
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
- Proficiency in financial accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated project management skills with proven ability to keep projects moving forward and deliver results.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
