Leading property management companies in the Nordics UK and US have already joined forces to form Odevo and over the last 4 years Odevo revenues have grown 30 fold has grown to become a leading international player. Our ambition is to continue to grow rapidly organically and by attracting additional companies to join us in both existing and new markets.

We deliver our property management services with custom developed software to simplify living and make life easier for property owners association boards residents and very importantly our own property management professionals. We make complex topics such as managing property finances and the daily maintenance of buildings easy and we automate timeconsuming everyday tasks so people can spend more time on things that they really enjoy.

About the role

You will be working in an entrepreneurial environment in a rapidly growing group where new companies join frequently. To succeed you are open and sociable and enjoy working at a high pace in a dynamic organization.

The VP of Finance is responsible for overseeing the Accounts Receivables/Account Payables Department Managers as well as assisting the Executive Director and Managing Director of Finance with Implementation on new clients procedures processes and Special Projects. This role also serves as a consultant for managers within the organization.

  1. Responsible for supervising the accounting procedures of the company.
  2. Audit the work of the accounting department.
  3. Engage in critical and confidential aspects of accounting.
  4. Responsible for the development of policies systems special financial studies etc. of major importance.
  5. Advise management on matters of fiscal procedure and importance for the organization.
  6. Ensure compliance with the financial procedures of the organization.
  7. Works with confidential data which if disclosed might have significant internal effect or minor external effect.

Who you areExperience
  • Most importantly you share our values and feel excited about our journey. However to succeed in this role we believe that you have:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting or equivalent number of years of experience plus seven years of accounting experience.
  • CPA designation.
  • Presentation skills

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Masters degree in accounting or finance.
