Diesel Technician

Morin Diesel, Connecticut's only independent Cummins Industrial Engine dealer, is seeking an Experienced Diesel Technician to join our growing team. Position: Diesel Technician- Experience Required: Minimum 5 years
- Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM
- Compensation: Highly competitive, based on experience
As a Diesel Technician at Morin Diesel, you will be working on a diverse range of equipment, with the majority of the work focused on road trucks, industrial diesel engines, truck-mounted equipment, and some heavy machinery. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and equipment, while upholding our high standards of service.
Qualifications:- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Diesel Technician
- Extensive knowledge of diesel engines, including Cummins, Kubota, Kohler, Isuzu, and Perkins
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for trucks, industrial diesel engines, and heavy equipment
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Clean and organized work habits
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing high-quality service

- Diagnose, repair, and maintain road trucks, industrial diesel engines, truck-mounted equipment, and heavy machinery
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment is running efficiently
- Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot engine and equipment issues
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding repairs and maintenance
