Job Title - PCB Layout Engineer
Location - Orlando, FL (Onsite)
Job Description:
• Requires 5+ years of progressive engineering experience in testing embedded software applications.
• Bachelor's in computer engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering. (A degree in another Engineering discipline may be acceptable with proven software education and/or training and demonstrated software experience.)
• Experience in testing embedded software applications.
• Team player with ability to work within project teams with guidance.
• Ability to solve engineering tasks through accurate interpretation of requirements and test results.
• Strong communication and problem solving skills.
• Experience using defect management and test management tools is preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of developing software solutions or test scripts using Python.(Nice to have)
• Competence in scripting languages such as Python and Perl.(Nice to have)
• Practical experience in C/C++ object-oriented analysis and programming, and multi-threaded/multi-tasking programming is desired.(Nice to have)
'• Utilizing ECAD software applications and related equipment. Specific experience with Mentor Graphics Xpedition® software is required.
• PCB design technologies, PCB layout techniques, electrical schematics, PCB fabrication and assembly drawings is required.
• Designing multilayer high-density interconnect printed circuits often consisting of multiple lamination cycles and via structures up to 12 layers.
• Design of multi-lam, blind and buried via, and sub .5mm pitch applications.
• Develop and generate drawings and documentation to facilitate PCB fabrication and assembly.
• Control impedance trace.
• Mixed analog and digital circuit design, RF components, and BGA package fan.
• IPC-A-600 for design and ASME/ANSI for documentation.
