Dansources Technical Services is seeking a skilled circuit design engineer to create innovative circuit card solutions aimed at enhancing security technologies for a groundbreaking program centered on cutting-edge microelectronics tailored for Department of Defense applications.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication abilities, extensive experience in complex circuit card design, particularly with high-speed interfaces such as PCIe and DDR, and a solid understanding of Systems on a Chip (SOC) and Multi-Chip Package (MCP) solutions, along with Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) verification and validation testing at the circuit card level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement circuit card(s) and cables for early prototype ASIC testing, while conducting design assurance reviews.

Essential Qualifications:

• Proven experience in complex circuit card design, particularly with high-speed interfaces (PCIe, DDR, etc.).

• Familiarity with board integration and testing tools, including power supplies, Digital Multi-Meters, Oscilloscopes, Electronic Loads, and Data Acquisition devices.

• Ability to capture and derive requirements for digital designs.

• Experience in deriving test requirements for digital designs.

• Proficiency with Cadence PSpice or equivalent for circuit simulation and analysis.

• Experience with Mentor Graphics DxDesigner or equivalent for schematic capture and layout.

• Knowledge of Mentor Graphics Hyperlynx or equivalent for signal and power integrity analysis.

• Strong ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of design engineers and stakeholders at all levels.

• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and agile environment to meet demanding schedules.

• Self-motivated individual capable of engaging with program personnel and working with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with SOC/MCP solutions and ASIC verification and validation testing requirements at the circuit card level.

• Experience with parts and materials selection.

• Ability to conduct design trade studies, evaluating cost, weight, packaging, and power benefits.

• Knowledge of CAMEO.

Schedule: 4/10A - 1st Shift. Active Secret Clearance is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates should have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
