Overview:

Our client's home health organization focuses on delivering comprehensive home health care services to patients in their own homes, emphasizing personalized care, patient satisfaction, and improved health outcomes. They are seeking a talented senior-level Project Manager and/or Program manager to support and oversee several key projects in that space. These projects range from application development to being more infrastructure focused, and they include everything from decommissioning applications to data center migrations, and even new mobile app development. All of the home health projects have a common theme of increasing efficiencies and internal employee and customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities:

As an IT Project/Program Manager you will oversee multiple projects within home health to ensure they align with business goals and are completed on time and within budget. Here are the typical day-to-day responsibilities:


  • Planning and Strategy:
  • Develop program plans, goals, and objectives.
  • Align projects with overall business strategies and objectives.
  • Conduct risk assessments and mitigation planning.


  • Project Oversight:
  • Monitor progress of individual projects within the program.
  • Ensure projects adhere to the established timeline, budget, and scope.
  • Coordinate and synchronize the work of project managers and teams.


  • Stakeholder Communication:
  • Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between teams and departments.


  • Resource Management:
  • Allocate resources across projects to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness.


  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor project managers and teams.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
  • Address conflicts and issues within the team.


  • Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure all projects within the program meet quality standards.
  • Implement and oversee testing and validation processes.
  • Continuously improve project management processes and methodologies.


  • Risk and Issue Management:
  • Identify, analyze, and manage risks and issues.
  • Develop contingency plans and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational policies.


  • Performance Monitoring:
  • Track and report on program performance metrics.
  • Use data to make informed decisions and adjustments.
  • Ensure that program objectives are met and deliverables are of high quality.


  • Change Management:
  • Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Communicate changes and their impact to stakeholders and teams.
  • Ensure proper documentation of changes.


  • Vendor and External Relations:
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors.
  • Negotiate contracts and service agreements.
  • Ensure vendors meet their obligations and deliverables.


Qualifications:

  • Senior-level Project/Program Manager with at least 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient in Agile and SAFe methodologies.
  • Strong background in Infrastructure, with an understanding of system setups and interdependencies.
  • Experience working with technical teams.
  • Healthcare or home health experience is highly desirable.
  • Enterprise-level experience is a significant advantage.
  • Exceptional skills in status reporting and providing updates to senior-level leaders promptly.
