IP and Regulatory

ODDITY Labs is hiring for an IP and Regulatory specialist to craft a strategy for our compliance arm. This person will hold a critical role for our organization, as the success or failure of this organization lies with our ability to navigate the regulatory landscape.
Specific responsibilities
- Build a playbook for our IP and Regulatory approach that enables us to reach company goals efficiently and effectively, while ensuring the maximum protections for our intellectual property
- Manage and oversee IP portfolio, including preparing, filing, and prosecuting pre-patent and patent applications
- Conduct patentability assessments and freedom-to-operate analyses to evaluate risk and guide strategic decision-making
- Lead regulatory efforts, including preparing INCI submissions and clinical trial applications
- Educate and train internal teams on IP, regulatory, and compliance matters to ensure best practices are implemented
- Manage a set of external vendors / consultants to execute on highly specialized Regulatory & IP needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in IP and regulatory affairs within the biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry
- Proven experience with patent and IP strategy, including patent application filing and prosecution
- Strong working knowledge of regulatory requirements and processes in the US and EU, specifically with a deep understanding of the line betwen a drug and a cosmeceutical / nutraceutical
- All-around team player, self-motivated with strong communication skills, who thrives working in a fast-paced environment, and is willing to roll up sleeves and do any task to get the job done
- Strong time management skills – ability to consistently meet deadlines, define timetables, balance multiple priorities, and manage projects to completion in a fast-paced environment
- Self-organized, process driven and can drive a project from start to finish with multiple stakeholders
- A passion player who loves their work, loves getting things done together with their team, who thrives off achieving wins
