Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility based in Charlotte, NC. This is a full-time 3+ months contract with high possibilities of extension or conversion to permanent opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization


Position: Phlebotomist

Duration: 3+ months with possibilities of extension

Location: Charlotte, NC

Shift: 1st Shift, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 8 am - 5 pm, On Wednesday: 10 am - 7 pm OR Monday through Friday, 8 am -5 pm


Job Responsibilities:

  • Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
  • Maintain a safe and professional environment.
  • Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
  • Perform verification of patient demographic info/initials including patient signature post-venipuncture to verify tubes were labeled in their presence and that the name on the label is correct.
  • Maintains required records and documentation.
  • Demonstrates organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public in general.
  • Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.
  • Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record, if applicable.
  • Capable of handling multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.


Required Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.


*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
