Key Responsibilities


  • Perform electrical maintenance and repair tasks in accordance with safety guidelines and industry standards.
  • Install and maintain electrical systems, including conduit, wiring, and wire pulls, to support the needs of the facility.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Reconfigure electrical systems as needed to accommodate changes in facility layout or equipment configurations.
  • Install and maintain switch guards, low voltage systems, and 115 volt/medium voltage systems to support facility operations.
  • Conduct inspections of electrical systems and equipment to identify potential hazards or areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to coordinate work activities and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including work orders, maintenance logs, and equipment inventories.
  • Must have experience with all voltage/phase up to 480/3. Service and troubleshooting experience a must


Requirements


  • Journeyman Electrician license eligible in New York State.
  • EPA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of [5] years of experience as an electrician, with a strong background in construction techniques and electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in conduit installation, wiring, wire pulls, and electrical pipe work.
  • Knowledge of switch guards, low voltage systems, and 115 volt/medium voltage systems.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety in all work activities.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.
