Location: Gentera Center for Precision Medicine, Coral Gables, Florida


Position Type: Full-Time


Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (availability for weekends or evenings on rare occasions for events)

Join Our Team as a Patient Care Specialist at Gentera Center for Precision Medicine located in the heart of Coral Gables, Florida


We are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Specialist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient in-patient care coordination, exceptional patience experience and providing administrative support within our state-of-the-art medical facility. This role is essential in delivering a seamless journey for our patients, from their initial inquiry to post-consultation follow-up.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist patients with professionalism and warmth.
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently.
  • Answer phone calls, addressing patient inquiries and scheduling appointments promptly.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure patients feel valued and supported.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure meticulous data entry into EMRs.
  • Verify insurance coverage and handle billing information accurately.
  • Proactively follow up with prospective patients to facilitate consultation bookings.
  • Offer comprehensive support throughout the patient's journey, including post-consult follow-ups to assess satisfaction and well-being.
  • Coordinate closely with medical staff to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide administrative support to healthcare providers as required.


Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a high-impact medical setting.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proactive attitude with proven customer service and sales support skills.
  • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish with excellent communication abilities.
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in electronic medical records systems.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology for effective communication with healthcare professionals.
  • Experience in a dental or medical office setting preferred.
