Responsibilities

  1. Payroll Processing:
  • Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and efficiently.
  • Verify time and attendance records for payroll calculations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
  1. Software Expertise:
  • Proficient in using ADP for payroll processing.
  • Familiarity with Cornerstone Learning for employee training and development.
  1. Accounting and Compliance:
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Stay up to date with employment and labor laws.
  1. Communication and Support:
  • Answer employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and compensation.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on payroll system enhancements.
  • Collaborate with HR teams to address employee needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Payroll Specialist or Payroll Administrator.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with state and federal regulations regarding employment and labor laws.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
