Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Data Analyst to join our business intelligence team. The primary responsibilities of this role will be to collect, analyze, and interpret data to provide valuable insights that drive business decisions and strategic planning.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Data Gathering and Extraction:

  • Identify, extract, and consolidate data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and external systems.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness by implementing data validation and quality control measures.


2. Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to cross-functional teams and leadership.


3. Business Intelligence and Reporting:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data and reporting requirements.
  • Design and develop custom reports, ad-hoc analyses, and self-service BI solutions to support decision-making processes.
  • Continuously optimize and enhance BI tools and processes to improve data accessibility and decision-making capabilities.


4. Data Modeling and Transformation:

  • Develop and maintain data models, ensuring data integrity and consistency across the organization.
  • Implement data transformations, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data warehousing strategies.
  • Automate data processing and reporting workflows to improve efficiency and scalability.


5. Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:

  • Effectively communicate insights and findings to various stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and subject matter experts.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor on data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align BI initiatives with business objectives.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a data analysis or business intelligence role.
  • Proficient in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization using tools like SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to extract meaningful insights from complex data sets.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.
  • Experience in collaborating with stakeholders to understand their data and reporting requirements.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management principles.
