Job Summary

Reporting to the Vice President, of the Distributor Group the Sales & Rental Supervisor is an in-office position that will play a crucial role in managing the sales and rental process in the Highway Safety Crash Cushion Division. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the sales and rental inquiries from clients via phone and email and in person visits.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to identify equipment availability, pricing, and terms for rental or purchase.
  • Prepare and process rental and sales orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure timely delivery and pickup of equipment to/from clients.
  • Assist clients in identifying project requirements by reviewing contract site plans and specifications
  • Become proficient in the technical aspects of our Highway Safety Product lines.
  • Communicate to customer technical product details based on project application.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and technical support in a timely and professional manner.
  • Daily coordination in our software systems.
  • Assist in marketing efforts by promoting available products.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, equipment specifications, and pricing to effectively advise clients and make informed recommendations.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and industry events as required.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or rental coordination within the construction industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and vendors.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with SAP B1 or other ERP a plus.
  • Ability to review contract site plans, technical specifications and product drawings.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and contract preparation.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Knowledge of highway safety equipment and terminology a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
