About Us: Build Partners is a leading recruitment agency specializing in the construction industry. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager on behalf of our client, a reputable commercial general contractor known for delivering exceptional projects.


Job Description: As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing complex commercial construction projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute to high-profile projects and advance their career within a dynamic and growing organization. This person will need experience with ground up retail as well as occupied renovation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of commercial construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and company standards.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, track progress, and report on project status.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and review project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior project managers and team members.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in commercial construction project management w ground up retail
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale commercial construction projects as well as occupied renovations
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
