**Position Overview:**

The successful candidate will play a critical role in advising on intricate M&A transactions and leveraged finance matters. **Key Responsibilities:**

- Undertake comprehensive legal research and provide analyses on M&A and leveraged finance transactions.

- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of transaction documents and agreements.

- Offer strategic legal counsel to a diverse clientele, ensuring their business objectives are met with due diligence.

- Work collaboratively with team members across various departments to ensure the seamless execution of transactions.

- Lead due diligence investigations, identifying and advising on potential legal and business risks.

- Actively contribute to the mentoring and development of junior attorneys and support staff.

- Keep abreast of relevant legal, regulatory, and industry developments to provide informed advice.


**Qualifications:**

- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a reputable law school.

- Must be licensed to practice law in New York.

- A minimum of 3-5 years of direct experience in M&A and leveraged finance within a well-regarded law firm environment.

- A proven academic record demonstrating a commitment to excellence.

- Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.

- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and deadlines in a dynamic setting.

- A strong sense of teamwork and the ability to work effectively with others.

- A steadfast commitment to professionalism and confidentiality.
