We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Architect with extensive experience in migrating from Tableau to Power BI. Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence solutions that leverage Power BI’s capabilities, ensuring a seamless transition from Tableau.
Key Responsibilities:
- Migration Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive migration strategy from Tableau to Power BI, including data source connections, visualization migration, and testing.
- Architecture Design: Design and implement scalable and efficient Power BI architectures that meet business requirements.
- Data Integration: Establish and manage data connections, ensuring data integrity and consistency across various sources.
- Dashboard Development: Create interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports using Power BI, ensuring they meet user requirements and business goals.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize Power BI solutions for performance, scalability, and usability.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption of Power BI.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of the migration process, architecture, and best practices
Skills & Experience
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling. Experience with Tableau and its migration to Power BI.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business intelligence and data analytics, with at least 2 years of experience in migrating from Tableau to Power BI.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience with other data visualization tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and big data technologies.
- Familiarity with data governance and security best practices.
- Experience in managing BI projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
- Relevant certifications in Power BI or other BI tools are a plus."
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive meaningful insights
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage teams, with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Presentation Skills: Effectively presenting project updates and outcomes to stakeholders and executives.
