The Role

The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will spearhead our marketing and brand strategy, aligning it with our company's vision and growth objectives. This role requires a unique blend of technical proficiency, analytical depth, creative vision, and storytelling prowess. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the DTC landscape, live selling channels, and the development and management of a comprehensive tech stack to optimize marketing and revenue performance. This leader will be responsible for crafting and conveying our brand story across all channels, leveraging data analytics and technology to connect with and expand our customer base effectively, thus enhancing the customer experience and driving sales.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a cutting-edge marketing strategy that emphasizes our DTC and live selling channels, ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives and goals.


  • Tech Stack Innovation: Identify, evaluate, and implement the necessary technology stack to streamline marketing processes, enhance audience targeting, and optimize campaign performance.

  • Data Analytics & Performance Reporting: Harness the power of data analytics to gain insights into customer behavior, campaign effectiveness, and market trends. Utilize these insights to refine strategies and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders.

  • Brand Storytelling: Lead the brand's narrative across all marketing channels, crafting compelling stories that resonate with our target audience and distinguish our brand in a competitive market.

  • Customer Experience: Utilize all marketing resources to create a seamless and engaging customer journey, from discovery through post-purchase, ensuring a consistent and captivating brand experience.

  • Audience Engagement & Growth: Implement targeted marketing campaigns that effectively reach and engage potential customers, driving conversions and fostering brand loyalty.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product development, sales, and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to market offerings and customer interactions.

  • Innovation & Trend Monitoring: Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and marketing best practices to continuously innovate and adapt our marketing strategies.


  • Revenue and Profitability Focus: Link marketing activities directly to revenue outcomes and profitability of sales channels, showcasing a strong capability to convert marketing initiatives into financial success.


  • Product Licensing and Co-Branded Programs: Demonstrated understanding or experience in product licensing, leveraging co-branded programs to attract new customers and elevate brand awareness within our DTC channels.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a senior marketing role within the DTC, fashion, or accessories sector.
  • Expert knowledge of digital marketing strategies, including SEO/SEM, social media, email marketing, and content strategy, with a particular emphasis on DTC and/or live selling platforms.
  • Strong understanding of the DTC ecosystem, live selling platforms, and digital marketing trends.
  • Expertise in developing and managing a technology stack for marketing purposes, including CRM, analytics tools, and digital advertising platforms.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with a proven track record of leveraging data to drive strategic decisions and marketing effectiveness.
  • Outstanding storytelling ability, with the skill to craft compelling brand narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams and driving marketing innovation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering relationships with stakeholders, partners, and team members.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
