Location: Peoria Illinois
Job description:
· 4+ years of experience in Electrical Harness Routing, Design Concept integrating CPI (Continuous Process Improvements) in heavy equipment domain,
· Hands on experience on Creo Schematic/diagram, Part design, Assembly, Group and Arrangement.
· Utilize Creo to create highly integrated designs within the machine platforms
· Good experience in verification of harness design rules, Illustration drawings and layout preparation.
· Have knowledge on Electrical systems and able to understand Schematics / Circuit design.
· Good Knowledge on components used for wiring harness design. (Wire types and its selection, Fuses, Relays, Controllers, connectors, coverings, support clips etc.)
· Knowledge on sheet metal design and automotive wire harness manufacturing process is added advantage.
· Should be ready to work on multiple harness and schematic development tools.
· Should be able to interact with customers and provide solutions.
· Working on creating a comparison concept between current and existing design to check clearance and finalize design
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Creation of CN and release the CN for Teamcenter activity
· Strong Interpersonal & communication skills.
Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in an Electrical Engineering or Mechanical plus
· 4+ years of ElectroMechanical engineering experience with Creo CAD Software and PLM
· Knowledge of NPI process
