New York, United States BIOVERSE Full time

Who we are

BIOVERSE is a fast-growing direct-to-consumer telehealth company focused on making science-backed longevity and anti-aging treatments accessible to all.

Our mission

Our mission is to improve health span and longevity.

Our dedication

Our dedication is encapsulated in one single promise: to provide science-backed longevity solutions to everyone. This commitment drives us to democratize access to cutting-edge health interventions, making longevity solutions a widespread choice for all, and not just a luxury for a few.

Our Culture: Agile, Collaborative, Pioneering

As an early-stage startup, each day at BIOVERSE is dynamic and full of possibilities. Our culture thrives on agility, collaboration, and frequent iteration. We work five days a week in the office because we believe that in-person interactions propel fast and effective iterations. If you are looking for remote or hybrid work, this role is not for you

The Role

We are building a product/company that is significantly transforming people's lives.

We are seeking an experienced full-time Engineering Manager. As an Engineering Manager, your responsibilities will involve a combination of hands-on engineering work, technical leadership, project management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain our platform.

What You’ll Do:

  • This engineering manager will be hands on, and will both code as well as manage other engineers.
  • You will report directly and work in tandem with the CEO, and work closely with the rest of the engineering team, product management, and executive leadership to ensure a high-quality experience for users.
  • Fine-tune the performance of our telemedicine platform, conducting optimizations and enhancements that elevate the quality of care and user satisfaction.
  • Lead architectural discussions and decisions related to telemedicine platform development.
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in telemedicine to ensure the company remains competitive.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams such as product management, design, and QA to deliver high-quality telemedicine solutions
  • Conduct regular code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.
  • Identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities and implement measures to mitigate them.

What You’ll Bring:

  • At least 3 years of engineering experience in a dynamic role.
  • Prior experience working at an early stage startup, preferably in the healthcare space.
  • Strong proficiency in software development, with experience in our relevant programming languages (such as Typescript, Javascript, and React).
  • Experience using Supabase is preferred, but not required.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, preferably in a technical role, with the ability to inspire and motivate engineering teams. Those with the capacity to serve as a player/coach are preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical CEO.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address technical challenges and performance bottlenecks in telemedicine platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced startup environment.

Join us at BIOVERSE, where your expertise will not just be valued — it will be pivotal in transforming the future of telehealth and the longevity industry.
