Alexander Rose is partnered with a rapidly expanding hospice care organization, known for its comprehensive range of services and its commitment to delivering top-notch care to patients in Michigan. There is a need to recruit a Hospice Administrator, this role will be pivotal to the performance of this organizations continued success.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates and supervises all patient services, both direct and indirect, delivered by clinical personnel within the organization.
- Manages and cultivates the Hospice Program, with direct or indirect oversight of clinical teams.
- Interprets operational metrics to identify shifts in patient numbers and variations in service demand that may impact staffing levels, revenue, or expenses. Actively promotes hospice referrals within the healthcare community.
- Ensures the adequacy and appropriateness of inventory, supplies, and equipment for the provision of patient services.
- Creates, implements, and assesses the orientation program for new organization personnel.
- Conducts orientation for new organization personnel, either directly or by delegation.
- Plans and executes in-service and ongoing education programs to fulfill the educational and training requirements of organization personnel.
- Contributes to the evaluation of organization performance through the performance improvement program, productivity assessments, quarterly, and annual reviews.
- Guarantees the delivery of high-quality and safe hospice services through the Organization.
- Participates in the formulation of organization goals and actively develops, recommends, and administers Organization policies and procedures.
Experience Required
- Extensive Hospice experience
- Established track record in roles such as Administrator /Executive Director or other high-level managerial positions
- Proficiency in devising and implementing strategic initiatives and plans
- Demonstrated aptitude in deploying effective networking strategies
- Proficient grasp of corporate finance and performance metrics
- Comprehensive familiarity with corporate governance principles and exemplary management practices
- An analytical mindset adept at creative problem-solving
- Exceptional organizational skills and strong leadership capabilities
