At Renaissance, the Program Manager will be responsible for implementing and managing initiatives with Renaissance Benefit’s new Medicaid & Commercial Health Plan contracts. The Program Manager will interact with the internal department heads and Renaissance’s Medicaid & Commercial Health Plan partners. They will work strategically to solve problems, analyze data, track risks, and monitor quality while ensuring they deliver results on time and in scope.


What will this role entail?


  • Manage new health plan implementations working across the enterprise, and multiple program changes for existing health plans, often concurrently.
  • Development and execution of detailed implementation work plans utilizing the appropriate project management tools, acting as the single point of contact for internal staff and Health Plan client.
  • Identifies, creates and maintains implementation resources, schedules, work plans, and status reports for the execution of all new Health Plan accounts.
  • Ensure that any implementation change requests are assessed for impact to schedule and resources, and that they are approved by governance committee and implemented, if applicable.
  • Works cross-functionally at all staff levels within the Company and within the Health Plan client’s operation by directing the Health Plan client implementation.
  • Develop project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility and all projects are delivered on time and within determined scope.
  • Works closely with project sponsors to ensure all federal, state and health plan requirements are complete, accurate and measurable.
  • Able to multi-task and manage any necessary project related escalations to meet timeline requirements and client expectations throughout the project implementation, as well as solve problems, analyze processes and data, and make decisions that affect the project on a regular basis.
  • Responsible for performing quality audit of specified deliverables and system set up including Health Plan required reporting.
  • Identifies, tracks, manages and resolves project issues as well as performs risk analysis and assists in the development of risk contingency plans.
  • Execute process improvement projects during and after every implementation by creating risk assessments and working closely with the Renaissance department heads for quality improvement efforts every quarter.
  • Other duties as assigned.


What must I possess to qualify?


  • Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of previous Program Management experience. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
  • Previous Healthcare experience, preferred
  • Knowledge of Managed Care and Medicaid, Exchange and Commercial Health Plans
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to coordinate multiple tasks within the project with changing priorities and deadlines
  • Adept in interpersonal, organizational, written, and oral communication and presentation skills with proven experience writing and delivering presentations to members of the management team and internal business partners.
