Essential Functions:

  • Monitor and administer a multi-server LINUX/Informix Dynamic Server database environment, providing essential backup support.
  • Lead and guide team members in managing, provisioning, and troubleshooting Azure AD, MFA, third-party, and M365 applications.
  • Administer a heavily virtualized multi-server Windows and LINUX network, including Cisco VPN, Internet/Web connectivity, Exchange email, backups, security, and user administration.
  • Monitor and report the status and performance of network components regularly.
  • Analyze, diagnose, and resolve network expansion, configuration, and performance issues.
  • Plan, evaluate, configure, and install servers and related equipment and software.

Education/Experience:

  • Strong understanding of LINUX server configuration and tuning (SUSE and Ubuntu a plus)
  • Good understanding of IBM Informix Dynamic Server configuration and tuning (strong plus)
  • Experience managing, provisioning, and troubleshooting Azure AD and M365 applications
  • Experience in regulated and security-conscious environments
  • Working knowledge of networking, computer hardware, Internet, Client/Server, and operating systems
  • Experience with Cisco router and switch configuration (a plus)
  • Experience in web application management and user access control
  • At least 5 years of experience administering LINUX networks and servers
  • Preferred Microsoft certifications (Windows, MS Exchange, SQL Server) and Azure cloud certifications
