We are representing a globally recognized FORTUNE 500 industrial manufacturing organization who is actively seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer/Reliability Engineer. This is a newly created position that will work in conjunction with the Engineering Manager on new capital projects, maintenance and reliability standardization, and continuous improvement efforts through out the facility.


POSITION OVERVIEW

  • Responsible for Mechanical Process Engineering to maximize safety, quality and productivity in the daily maintenance of plant equipment in order to drive continuous improvements to equipment availability and throughput.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for equipment failures and loss of production
  • Responsible for analyzing production delay data for establishing and documenting or modifying preventive maintenance tasks. Generate continuous improvement projects based on production delay data.
  • Candidate will work closely with Plant leadership on Capital Projects
  • Prepare and review equipment failure/root cause analysis reports and determine/evaluate corrective action items
  • Determine and install appropriate performance metrics that will promote long-term continuous improvement
  • Responsible for implementing and/or improving SOP's where necessary


POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
  • Candidate should have at least 3-5 years of Plant Mechanical Process Engineering/Plant Maintenance Reliability experience within high volume and/or industrial manufacturing environments.
  • Candidate should have a strong working knowledge of Plant deliverables and KPI's with a track record of addressing maintenance/operational issues, addressing root cause, and improving them.
