New Home Sales Consultant

The New Home Sales Counselor is responsible for meeting with prospective buyers to communicate, persuade, and finalize sales for newly constructed residential homes. This role actively seeks new leads through continuous contact with potential buyers, referrals, brokers, and other prospects. Compensation is performance and commission-based, with expected annual total earnings of $125,000 to $175,000, inclusive of an annual base salary of $30,000 plus commission.
Primary Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and provide literature, point-of-sale information, and handouts to prospective homebuyers.
- Respond to customer requests for assistance and information.
- Demonstrate models/homes/home sites, discussing floor plans, construction details, and options.
- Overcome sales objections and close sales to create satisfied customers.
- Receive offers, applications, and address financing questions for prospective buyers.
- Document sales transactions, follow up on loan applications, and monitor sales and cancellations.
- Maintain accurate paperwork and sales files, conducting weekly follow-up calls with buyers until home closing.
- Ensure sales models and the community are clean and well-maintained.
- Update marketing materials for distribution to potential buyers.
- Continuously seek new prospects through networking, referrals, and effective follow-up.
- Utilize competitive market analysis (CMA) and other data-driven tools to sell homes.
- Contact real estate brokers and conduct presentations to attract brokers to KB communities.
- Host grand openings and community events.
Required Experience
- Previous sales experience is required; new home sales experience is preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to connect with people and maintain professional relationships.
- Proven customer-centric approach, focusing on solutions from the customer’s perspective.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Required Education
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
Work Environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Conduct business in a professional and ethical manner to reinforce goodwill and profitability for the company.
