Our client is a well know and accomplished player in the real estate, hospitality, and restaurant space. They are looking to add an experienced financial professional to their team.


Duties and responsibilities


  • Provide financial expertise, planning, financial reporting, and support for monitoring and reporting on the business and financial assets of the Himmel family.
  • Interface with banks, lawyers, tax professionals, auditors, investors, investment managers, joint venture partners, and insurance providers.
  • Monitor and assess the financial performance of the Himmel family assets, including real estate holdings, restaurants, and personal investments.
  • Develop and maintain market value based personal financial statements for Kenneth A. Himmel.
  • Establish (in coordination with HHG Restaurant COO) financial and operating budgets and reporting standards for HHG restaurants.
  • Support the HHG Restaurant COO in the evaluation and improvement of current financial and reporting systems for HHG restaurants.



Qualifications


  • Prior experience in a family office environment and/or successful real estate/hospitality group
  • Minimum 8-10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required; CPA or advanced degree preferred
  • Proficiency with financial analysis and forecasting, creation and analysis of financial statements, and cash and investment management
  • Working knowledge of national and local tax regulations and compliance reporting
  • Ability to manage interfaces of multiple reporting formats
  • Dynamic leadership style with excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and/or as a team in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Exemplary history of working with diplomacy when interacting with partners, stakeholders, & restaurant managers
  • Confidence in presenting to and interacting with senior leadership and ownership executives
