The Merker Group (a leading National legal recruiting firm - MerkerGroup.com), is working for an Am Law ranked law firm in search of an associate and counsel level attorney with 3-6 years of structured finance experience and 7+ for counsel level to join their team in New York. Ideal candidates should have experience representing financial institutions as underwriters, issuers, borrowers, lenders, sellers, and/or purchasers in a variety of asset-backed securitization and structured lending transactions. Most of the work will be capital markets and/or leveraged finance experience. Those with an interest in esoteric securitization are welcome to apply.


This practice focuses on matching business-focused structures with capital in connection with esoteric and first-of-their-kind transactions. Opportunities will include capital markets securitization (both capital markets issued and privately placed), with a particular focus on whole business, digital infrastructure and media royalty securitizations, and structured private credit facilities. Candidates should have superior academic credentials and previous large law firm experience.
