Senior Accountant

Our client, a large company located in the Itasca area, is currently seeking to hire a Senior Accountant to support a varied scope of accounting processes (AP/AR, FA, Prepaids, Accruals, Intercompany, reconciliations, etc.). For those seeking career advancement, this is an excellent opportunity. There are ample horizontal and vertical growth prospects for individuals eager to learn, work diligently, and advance. They offer a hybrid work schedule (3 days in-office and 2 days remote) and provide a solid work-life balance (40-45 hours per week).
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and account variance analysis.
- Maintenance of inventory and reconciliation to GL.
- Reconciliation of intercompany transactions.
- Assistance with the annual audit process.
- Support for AR/Billing/Invoicing teams.
- Handling ad hoc requests.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, or equivalent experience.
- CPA preferred
