Import Coordinator

The Phillip Charles Group has been servicing the local metro Detroit area for the past 30 years and has built incredibly strong partnerships with our clients, candidates and employees. We have worked with our current client for years and they are looking for an Entry Level Ocean IMPORT Administrator for a possible Contract to Hire opportunity based out of their Romulus, Mi. location.
Day shift 8am-5pm
MUST be open to overtime
Pay: $18-24/hr based on Experience
Ocean Import Agent Job Responsibilities:
- Preferred experience in OCEAN IMPORT
- MUST HAVE Customer Service
- Proficient at moving freight from start to finish.
- Must be eager to learn
- Must be organized and computer proficient
- Proficient in paperwork
- Must be able to multi-task and handle a high level of stress.
- 25% Provide support service to other Import Agents for import documentation. General business support function as assigned
Ocean Import Agent Skills:
- Excellent Computer skill- EXCEL
- Organized
- Great oral and written communication
- Attention to detail
- Willing to work OT when needed
- Flexible
