Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of operational teams to ensure client satisfaction and company policies are adhered to.
  • Manage airport ramp operations, including loading and unloading of cargo aircraft, and ensure compliance with internal regulations.
  • Oversee warehouse sort operations, processing international import and export shipments, and supervise back office staff.
  • Develop and implement special projects to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure quality systems are implemented and maintained within the area of responsibility.
  • Manage Key Performance Indicators and cost levels, and assist in annual budget preparation.
  • Provide technical product assistance to staff and advise on changes to company policies and goals.
  • Supervise a unionized workforce of 8-12 staff, responsible for hiring, coaching, training, and developing subordinate staff.
Requirements:
  • BS/BA degree and 2 years' experience in a related field, including at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Professional certification required in some areas.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs occasionally and 40 lbs frequently.
