Job Summary:
The Technical Leader will play a crucial role in shaping the technological direction of the company and ensuring the successful delivery of IT services to our clients. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical skills and the ability to lead a team of IT professionals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in IT management, a deep understanding of MSP operations, and the ability to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and be an escalation point to senior members of the technical team. Provide mentorship to team fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Technological Expertise: Strong technical knowledge of our various technology stacks including cloud, security and on-prem solutions. Ensure the team is utilizing the most effective tools and methodologies to meet client requirements.
- Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, and drive innovation by identifying opportunities to enhance our service offerings and our technology stacks.
- Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement the company’s technical strategy, aligning it with business goals and client needs.
- Client Engagement: Work closely with clients to understand their technical requirements, propose solutions, and ensure the highest level of service delivery.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain best practices for IT service management, ensuring high standards of quality and reliability.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with technology vendors and partners to leverage their expertise and resources.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field experience.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in IT with a minimum of 3+ years of employee management, with a focus on MSP operations.
- Strong technical background with expertise in [relevant technologies, e.g., cloud computing, cybersecurity, network infrastructure].
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
- Relevant certifications are a plus.
