Our law firm is seeking an experienced Paralegal / Legal Assistant. The Paralegal / Legal Assistant will support our legal team in preparing legal documents, conducting research, and maintaining client files. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and a commitment to meeting tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft, format, and edit legal documents and correspondence.
  • Conduct legal research and compile data from various legal resources.
  • Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and meetings.
  • Manage and organize case files, documents, and evidence.
  • Schedule appointments, court dates, and meetings.
  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court officials.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all client and firm information.
  • Perform administrative duties such as answering phone calls, filing documents, and managing email correspondence.

Qualifications:

  • Paralegal certificate from an ABA accredited program, or a combination of education and/or experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in legal research and legal document preparation.
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology and court system processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal management software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Salary Range for Paralegal /  Legal Assistant:

  • $50,000 + Depending on Experience
