Responsibilities of the Linux SysOps Technical Lead:

  • Manage the installation, configuration and maintenance of Linux Servers.
  • Take lead of infrastructure projects from planning to deployment
  • Communicate with architects, stakeholders, and senior leadership on a regular basis.
  • Oversee IT systems to ensure security of operating systems and removing points of failure to increase system availability.


Required Skills for the Linux SysOps Technical Lead:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in Linux Systems Administration/Engineering.
  • 2+ years of prior management or supervisory experience.
  • Strong Linux OS background in Red Hat.
  • Strong scripting experience in Bash (Python and Perl are a plus).
  • Strong VMware experience (Docker and Kubernetes are a plus).
