Come join our team at Manner Polymers, a leading manufacturer of flexible PVC compounds in McKinney, TX. We are searching for an experienced Plant Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a solid foundation in manufacturing processes and team management. Reporting directly to the President, the Plant Manager will play a pivotal role in optimizing production efficiency, maintaining product quality, ensuring on-time delivery, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.


Responsibilities

  • Lead, guide, and motivate the production, maintenance, and quality teams to achieve high performance.
  • Analyze and supervise operational practices, manufacturing performance, and staffing requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Materials Department to manage workflow, create scheduling plans, and maintain inventory for current and future expedited work orders.
  • Optimize day-to-day operations for peak efficiency.
  • Improve production, enhance asset capacity, reduce waste, increase flexibility, and uphold quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.


Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success in manufacturing leadership, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in plant or operations management.
  • Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality systems.
  • Proven leadership abilities, capable of inspiring and developing high-performance teams.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills, driven by data and results.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to engage with employees across all organizational levels.
