Position Overview:


As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering high-level financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning to support the financial health and operational success of Phoebe Physician Group. You will work closely with leadership to provide insights into financial performance, identify opportunities for efficiency, and support critical decision-making processes. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct detailed financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to provide insights into key performance metrics.
  • Analyze and monitor the financial performance of various physician practices within the group, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with operational leaders to develop financial models that support business growth and operational efficiency.
  • Assist in the development of long-term financial plans and strategies for Phoebe Physician Group.
  • Provide financial support for special projects, acquisitions, and contract negotiations.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with internal financial policies, as well as external regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Work with accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.


Qualifications:


  • 4 year / Bachelor's Degree in in Accounting or other Business Related Field (Required)
  • Master's Degree in Accounting or other Business Related Field (Preferred)
  • 4 - 5 years experience in an accounting office or department, preferably to include healthcare industry exposure (Required)
  • Preferred Certifications/Licensures: Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
