Network Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer that possess 5-7 years of comprehensive experience in network infrastructure, with expertise in Cisco route/switch, Cisco ISE, Meraki, and Palo Alto firewalls.
Duration: 6 months to Permanent Opportunity
Location: El Dorado, AR (Hybrid - 2 or 3 days a week onsite)
Eligibility: U.S. Citizenship or Green Card Required
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain network security solutions, ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our network infrastructure.
- Utilize expertise in Cisco route/switch to optimize network performance and reliability.
- Configure and manage Cisco ISE for identity-based access control and policy enforcement.
- Implement and manage Meraki cloud-managed networking devices for streamlined network management.
- Deploy and maintain Palo Alto firewalls to safeguard our network against advanced threats and unauthorized access.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess security risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members as needed.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our network security posture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in network security engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Cisco route/switch, Cisco ISE, Meraki, and Palo Alto firewalls.
- Hands-on experience with network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions within project timelines.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), or equivalent are preferred.
