An Operations Engineer has the opportunity to work with a breadth of technologies, and collaborate with senior stakeholders to help maintain their cutting edge infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot technology issues related to hardware, software, user accounts, trading environments, operating systems, and mobility.
  • Engage in technical collaboration with other Infrastructure groups and Business IT teams as appropriate.
  • Monitor incident response, change management, disaster recovery, and design review.
  • Escalate, coordinate, and manage incident response for critical firm-wide issues.
  • Provide excellent customer service experiences for all end users, traders, and senior leadership.


Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of operating systems including Windows and Linux.
  • Experience working in Financial Services preferred.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Proven ability to build strong partnerships with business partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively recognize and resolve technical issues and adapt quickly to a changing technical environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS or BA) in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Good understanding of network technologies
