Reports To: Director of Digital Marketing
Work Location: Irving, TX
Summary:
The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing paid and organic social media and content marketing strategies, helping to drive ABG’s business through a variety of social media and influencer channels. The Manager will help grow the business through management and execution of effective and efficient paid and organic social media and influencer campaigns. In this role, the Manager oversees:
· Effective and results-driven management of social media marketing, content marketing and influencer marketing strategies and planning.
· Implementation of engaging, best practice-driven content and creative across social media brand channels, then optimize that content based on performance.
· Efficient management of paid campaigns and demonstrated success through measurement and reporting.
· Quality execution of work in all areas on time and within budget.
· A consistently superior work product.
Responsibilities:
· Monitors the latest trends in social media, including platform updates, advertising formats, channels and technologies in order to improve campaign performance and provide recommendations on how to best leverage new and existing tools and services.
· Create, maintain, and manage social media content calendars and influencer partnerships as well as budgets.
· Compile data across social media platforms and create weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual reports, including analysis for insights, optimizations and future strategic development.
· Demonstrates strategic insight to develop long-term execution plans to support business objectives and oversees the team via hands-on implementation of those plans.
· Displays organizational capabilities to track progress, execution and consistency of social advertising campaigns.
· Exhibits solid communication skills in order to effectively present strategic and tactical plans to internal teams.
· Demonstrates understanding of and ability to facilitate and manage forecasting, budgeting and pacing, campaign creation and optimization.
· Demonstrate understanding of and ability to manage influencer budgets/gifting.
· Displays understanding of business concepts and objectives in order to identify campaign expansion opportunities.
· Possesses well developed analytical ability to extract insight from data and plan next steps across multiple brands, channels and platforms with a focus on driving conversions and performance.
· Ability to self-manage while managing assigned teams (internal and external) and projects under tight deadlines.
· Manage and develop a highly qualified team of social media marketing professionals to ensure best-in-class execution of ABG’s social media and influencer strategy.
Qualifications:
· Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business or related field.
· 5-7+ years of experience in social media marketing.
· Aptitude for developing social media and content strategy solutions.
· Proficiency in Social advertising campaign management and optimization practices across the large social media platforms, including Meta (Facebook, Instagram), Pinterest, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), TikTok and YouTube.
· Strong organizational and project management skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Experience managing a team.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
