Manufacturing Electro-Mechanical Technology

Electro-mechanical individuals are analytical thinkers with great logical thinking skills and high technical and spatial reasoning skills. This position requires a desire to work in the complex and custom application assembling of large power transformers and mobile substations.

Qualifications:

Associate's Degree or Associate's Degree in process is required

Hands on experience with:

• Reading mechanical drawings, schematics, and electrical wiring instructions.
• Electrical-Mechanical systems assembly and troubleshooting.
• Problem identification, troubleshooting, and problem solving.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Primary duties:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for mechanical and/or electrical assembly. The right candidate will be accountable for Quality and Safety while working. Learn the requirements of the Quality Management System and use of Company’s internal portal (intranet).

In addition to the above:

• Work to assemble and test complex electromechanical product assemblies.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical diagrams and drawings.
• Ability work from mechanical assembly instructions and electrical schematics.
• Possess a high aptitude for attention to detail and receptive to learning procedural work.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment alongside engineers.
• Gather data from failed products to support engineering redesign.
• Prepare and create final product for shipment.
• Estimate remaining effort to complete project (EAC).
• Problem identification and problem-solving skills.
• Operation of heavy cranes and hoists in disassembly and reassembly of large equipment.
• Operate bobcat, forklift, and commercial trucks.
• Inspect parts for defects and record findings using non-conforming material processes.
