Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience preferably in the Finance industry
  • Expert in Oracle database development including design and optimization techniques
  • Hands-on experience with cloud based databases such as Redshift, PostgreSQL and DynamoDB
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, and the expertise in deploying and managing databases on these platforms
  • Ability to migrate on-prem mainframe databases to the cloud, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance
  • Experience in tuning database performance (on-premises and cloud) optimizing queries and resource utilization
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python and Shell) and automation tools for handling database deployments and configurations
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automating database deployment processes
  • Certifications in Oracle and cloud platforms strongly preferred
  • AWS Certified Database
  • Oracle Certified Associate
  • Bachelors Degree
