LMS is seeking a Community Manager who is experienced in managing multifamily properties, and industry designations (ARM, CAM, etc.). You will be the lead for the property, owning and overseeing all things related to the community and have the ability to motivate and develop a team and be a team leader. Thinking for the community entails keeping it at full capacity, converting prospective tenants into long term residents who love to be a part of the community, and accountability to plan, implement and monitor operations, profitability, quality service, marketing, and resident relations of the property, while maintaining the owner’s investment. Utilize management skills to train, motivate, and empower our associates to reach your goals and those of the property. You will report to Regional Manager, and work alongside corporate support team, associates of other sister communities, outside vendors, and other service providers.


What will you do?

  • Schedule, supervise and direct the daily activities of all on-site staff.
  • Responsibility of fiscal budgetary compliance to approved operation budgets.
  • Compliance with management company personnel and operations policy and procedures and compliance to company standards.
  • Provide effective marketing and communications, advise management of pertinent issues as related to the community, market, or other respective issues.
  • Plan, promote and implement effective Resident Retention program.
  • Believe in our mission to Create Community and Create Value at each property.


Have what it takes?

  • 5+ years of experience in multifamily community or property management required.
  • Experience on Class A/B properties
  • High School diploma or GED required. Two years of college, or related business experience a plus.
  • Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect pertinent data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and initiate appropriate course of action.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness.
  • Resourceful mindset and strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing; strong computer literacy
  • Safety-conscious mindset; values the safety of the property and its residents
  • Ability to thrive under pressure
  • Exceptional organizational skills, preference for detail-oriented work
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
