Job Description:

ILIM Montessori School is seeking a passionate and experienced Language Immersion Teacher to join our innovative team. This role involves implementing an immersive language education model that aligns with Montessori and Reggio Emilia principles, fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for students to develop their academics, language and core skills along with cultural awareness.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons in a language immersion setting.
  • Implement Montessori and Reggio methods to promote individualized learning and independence among students.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to integrate language immersion and skills based across the curriculum.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
  • Maintain a dynamic and culturally rich classroom environment.
  • Maintain age appropriate classroom management
  • Participate in professional development and continuous learning in both language education and Montessori methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Verified Bachelor’s degree in Education or a closely related field ( Elementary)
  • or some college with equivalent professional experience teaching specific age group in an academic / preschool setting. ( Preschool teachers only)
  • Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience with the specified age group in an accredited, state-licensed school or preschool.
  • Fluency in the language of instruction.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching in a Montessori, Reggio Emilia, or Project-Based Learning school.
  • Montessori Certification
  • 2 year experience in a language immersion program teaching within a school setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse learning environment.
