Position Summary:
The Sr Project Manager plays a key role in coordinating, planning, and driving commercial launch readiness, working directly with Product Management and Product Marketing to plan and execute commercialization projects. This position involves driving the commercial business integration of an acquired company into our commercial operations. The individual will collaborate with the Commercialization lead, Corporate Development office, and Marketing to plan and execute commercialization projects and provide real-time guidance on best-practice processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional commercial teams to plan & execute successful commercialization efforts
  • Utilize project management tools to organize activities, track progress to targets, and deliver outputs to support product launches
  • Communicate with teams and stakeholders, both internally and externally with partners, to ensure program goals align with commercial objectives across AMR, Europe, AMEA, and GC
  • Identify critical business needs, Go-to-Customer requirements, and drive improvements in business processes and systems to ensure commercial success
  • Characterize, resolve, or escalate commercial issues, facilitate trade-off decisions
  • Assist with the development and implementation of critical business processes

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in commercial or project management roles supporting product launches and on-market product releases
  • Externally facing project management, or other related experience with significant partnering responsibilities to develop commercial strategies for co-launch
  • Understanding of best-in-class go-to-customer and product commercialization processes
  • Strong project management and organizational skills: ability to manage multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously across regions in different time zones
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and to partner across business and development areas to deliver business results
  • Experience with common project management tools
  • Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and work under pressure
  • Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable creating and delivering presentations; able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization; ability to position initiatives, decisions, and outcomes to diverse audiences

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field is required
  • PMP certification desirable or willingness to obtain a PMP
  • MBA or advanced degree a plus
