To help us drive excellence, you will get to:

  • Lead projects for general accounting and financial analysis activities in the Plant.
  • Accountable for reviews and modifications of internal controls.
  • Prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements/documents and annual budget preparation. Also assist with financial bridge process and variance analysis.
  • Leads cost accounting process.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain capital expenditure requests.
  • Analyzing customer pricing issues and coordinating corrective action with commercial team.
  • Coordinates fixed assets and depreciated work.
  • Perform new program financial tracking and analysis and work with program finance to ensure quoted margins are adhered to.
  • Responsible for interactions with Corporate AR/AP to review past due issues and approving memos of customer reductions.
  • Team with the Controller regarding systems process improvements and implementation of changes.
  • Backup to Controller for labor, scrap and MRO spending and other approvals, as necessary.
  • Responsible for special projects as assigned.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and team problem solving activities (ex. 8D reports, department meetings, etc.).
  • Assist with Plant activities to achieve quality, productivity, and cost reduction goals.
  • This role is part of a two-member Finance Team and reports to the Controller.


SUCCESS FACTORS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in related financial, operational, or business analysis of manufacturing.
  • Understanding of financial systems, manufacturing systems, general ledger, standardized cost accounting, along with budgeting and forecasting is a plus.
  • Comprehension of manufacturing cost for materials management, fixed assets, inventory, labor, scrap, etc.
  • Excellent financial analytics, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficient understanding of financials and performance data.
  • Knowledge of QAD and One Stream is a plus; or similar integrated manufacturing system.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office software and other ERP and Finance consolidation IT systems.
