We are in search of a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team situated in Dallas, Texas. The primary role includes providing insightful financial analysis, supporting business lines with in-depth analysis, and creating statistical models to support strategic initiatives. This role is integral to our finance department and offers an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to contribute to our financial planning and analysis.


Responsibilities:

  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential risks.
  • Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Analyze the financial performance of various departments or business units.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, working with different departments to gather necessary data.
  • Monitor actual results against budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term strategic plans.
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic initiatives and business cases.
  • Assess the financial impact of new projects, investments, or business ventures.
  • Analyze and report on cost structures, identifying areas for cost reduction or optimization.
  • Support initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Maintain and improve financial reporting systems and processes.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in financial reports and models.
  • Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, standards, and company policies.
  • Conduct financial audits and internal controls assessments.
  • Communicate financial insights and findings to various stakeholders, including senior management, department heads, and external parties.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and projects.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track financial and operational performance.
  • Provide recommendations for improving performance based on data analysis.



Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Business systems, Confluence, CRM, and Crystal Reports

• Experience with Data Mining Techniques and Accounting Functions

• Proficient in Auditing, Budget Processes, and Capital Management

• Proficiency in Power BI and Oracle software

• Experience in KPI Reporting and creating dashboards

• Proficient in Budgeting and Financial Forecasting

• Prior experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is necessary

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other financial planning software

• Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles.
