Currently, we are in search of a Senior Accountant for our client which is one of the rapidly expanding CPA firms in the realm of global business, they provide comprehensive accounting and tax solutions to individuals and businesses across all 50 states and the expertise spans new business formation, accounting, tax, payroll, consulting, and human resources.


What will you do?

  • Facilitate the client onboarding process for assigned client engagements following defined procedures.
  • Contribute to client acquisition and retention initiatives, ensuring top-notch customer service.
  • Maintain and update financial records as required, both in digital and physical formats.
  • Execute processes related to accounts payable and receivable management, bookkeeping entries, monthly book closures, and preparation of financial reports and analysis.
  • Manage payroll processing and provide support for special client projects.
  • Demonstrate a profound understanding of professional accounting practices, including preparing Depreciation Schedules, Sales Journals, Sales Tax Returns, and reviewing/reconciling Payroll Records and Employment Tax Returns.
  • Collaborate with managers and fellow associates to ensure timely and effective communication, meeting deadlines, and delivering accounting support for all client services.
  • Prepare and file Corporate and Individual Income Tax Returns.
  • Maintain client inventory records, perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, and generate internal management reports and ad hoc reports as needed.
  • Assist in documenting, designing, and testing processes and procedures affecting financial statements or the company's financial performance.
  • Other responsibilities within the scope of the position may be assigned as needed.


What we are looking for?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field; Master's degree is advantageous.
  • CPA Certificate is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in full-cycle accounting and tax, with a preference for Public Accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of International Tax Law is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with QuickBooks and/or other accounting software.
  • Familiarity with UltraTax and/or other tax preparation software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Dependable, able to work independently, and stay focused on tasks.
  • Positive and team-player personality.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • High perseverance and results-oriented work habits.
  • Fast learner with the ability to grasp new concepts quickly.
