We are a leading packaging and containers manufacturer committed to safety, quality, and sustainability. We are seeking an experienced EHS Manager to ensure compliance and foster a strong safety culture at our Rome, GA facility.


Position Overview:

The EHS Manager will lead environmental, health, and safety programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and a safe workplace. This role requires a hands-on leader to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain EHS programs, policies, and procedures to meet OSHA, EPA, and local regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections; drive corrective actions.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses; implement preventive measures.
  • Track and report EHS metrics and recommend improvements.
  • Train employees on safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee environmental programs, including waste management, air emissions, and chemical handling.
  • Maintain EHS documentation and coordinate audits or inspections.
  • Lead emergency response planning and drills.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of EHS management experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience implementing safety and environmental programs.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and training skills.
  • CSP or CIH certification preferred.
