Location: Detroit, MI 48202 (Hybrid - Mostly Remote with On-Site Requirements)
Job Type: 13-Week Contract
Hours: 40 hours/week, 8 hours/day, 5 days/week
This 13-week contract position offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing you to work remotely most of the time while being required to come on-site for equipment pickup, initial training, and meetings as needed.
- Responsible for verifications for medical staff and allied health professionals initial appointments, provisional reviews, reappointments and privilege delineation.
- Coordinates the processing of applications. Assure all applications are processed completely and in a timely manner.
- Verifies required primary source credentialing documentation to ensure medical staff and allied health professional files are current and policies and procedures have been followed to obtain required documentation and verification.
- Assist in compliance with the accrediting and regulatory agencies (i.e. The Joint Commission, NCQA, URAC, HFAP) in regards to credentialing while developing and maintaining a working knowledge of the statutes and laws.
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years of post-high school training (such as business school or community college) preferred.
- Experience: 3-5 years of related experience, including at least 1 year of administrative services experience or its equivalent.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
