Job Summary:

As a Credentialing Specialist at Della Infotech, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of credentialing practices that comply with regulatory and accreditation agencies, hospital and medical staff bylaws, rules and regulations, and policies and procedures. Your expertise will be essential in continuously striving for best practice and identifying improvement opportunities in the credentialing process and/or other department activities, and assisting to facilitate change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective credentialing practices that meet regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with medical staff and hospital administrators to ensure compliance with credentialing policies and procedures.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of medical staff credentials to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the credentialing process.


Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in provider credentialing.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2 years of post-high school education, such as business school or community college.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Mastery of MD Staff program for credentialing purposes.


Work Environment:

This is a remote position, and candidates will be required to be local to pick up equipment in person at the site. The work environment is fast-paced and requires strong organizational and communication skills.
